Zachary Grech

Zachary Grech is a Fourth year Communications Major at the University of La Verne. He is a scholarship award winning sports broadcaster for the University of La Verne Athletics Department, and La Verne Community Television.

Grech was a former College Quarterback for the University of Laverne Football Team. He is also apart of the music department more specifically apart of the ULV Chamber Singers, which is an advanced choir mix ensemble and he serves as the Choir President.

Grech is also the LeoFm Promotions Director for the college’s radio station in which he helps create the radio station's contest giveaways. 

He also serves on the Campus Times as Calendar Editor/Staff Writer, and La Verne Magazine as a Staff Writer. 

Storytelling is what really drives him towards the pursuit of excellence.

Professional Experience

Provides in-depth commentary through play-by-play, and color commentary for the following sports; Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Baseball & Softball. 

Radio On-Air Talent & Promotions Director: A Weekly shift on-air for a radio station brings enthusiasm and relatable content for listeners to connect to. Runs the promotions for the radio station, which includes creating the contest giveaways and building connections with other corporations. 

Creative Writing - which includes personal features, sports articles, newspaper articles, and magazine features.

Vocal Performer: Experienced Choir Singer for 13 years, Professionally trained for 6 years. Displays vivid performances.
